Question : Hi...I'm 58 y/o female. Had a fainting spell Friday evening after being in a seated position on the computer. I stood up to go lie down as started to feel a bit nauseas and light headed. Almost made it but passed out on carpeted floor. Woke a few seconds later and felt okay. But since then I've had a mild headache, and slight feelings of lightheadedness and mildly weak. Just feel a little "off". Trying to decide if this is something to check out or maybe I just bumped my head at the fall. Taking Tylenol.

I should also mention this has not happened to me before. No history of such spells
Brief Answer:
Symptoms are suggestive of a syncopal attack.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting your query.
I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and I would try my best to help you.
I have noted your clinical details. Based on this, the most likely cause of your fainting is syncope. In this condition, the blood supply to brain is temporarily reduced, resulting into a brief episode of fainting.
Mild headache could be related to mild head injury, which could have occurred during the fall. It should subside in a few days.
As of now, there is no need for a CT scan of brain. however, if there is severe headache, or if there is vomiting, or if you become drowsy, a brain scan ay be done.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,
