Question : My creatinine level is 2.6 0.5-1.2mg/dl........do that mean i need to be on dialysis

Level of creatinine is NOT the only criterion for dialysis.
There are other compounding factors - potassium level, fluid overload, co-morbid Medical Conditions etc. You may need to do electrolytes, ultrasonography etc
This is the time to start a liaison with a qualified nephrologist for future follow up - because dialysis is a long term arrangement and bridges the gap to kidney replacement.
