Brief Answer:
chronic tonsillitis or chronic pharyngitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello madam amd thanks for teh query,
Recurrent sore throat with fever is due to chronic infection of the tonsils or the pharynx in general.
You have to see a doctor to confirm.

If the tonsils are the source of infection then they can be removed surgically. But surgery is considered only when the tonsils are getting inflamed repeatedly and causing considerable distress and disrupting your daily activities for over a year.

Penicillin group of antibiotics work very well for throat infections and should be the first line of drugs. Apart from that you can take pain killers like tylenol or ibuprofen after checking your dose.

Do warm salt water gargling 5 times daily and avoid cold foods and air conditioning.

Drink plenty of warm fluids and consume fruits rich in vitamin C like lemons , oranges and mosambis.
