Brief Answer:
95-96%

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

The efficacy of HIV RNA test on 7th day of exposure is 95-96%.

The efficacy at 2weeks is 99.89%. So I suggest just to be on safer side get repeat test after 1 week I.e total 2 week after exposure. The need for repeat test depends on type of exposure.

Hope I have answered your query. If any further queries are there I would love to help.

Brief Answer:
no need to repeat if you don't have cuts

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If you don't have any cuts over the penis and the partner don't have any mouth lesions like ulcers and if partner is not a proved case of HIV positive then no need to repeat the test.

This test may be taken as conclusive.

Hope I have answered your query. If any further queries are there I would love to help.
