Question: I did a 4th generation HIV test 4 days after exposure and it came out negative, how accurate is it? , and can HIV be detected 4 days after exposure?

Hi,

4th generation HIV test after 4 days of exposure is not very accurate because antibodies or antigen against HIV at least take 15 days to develop so the most suitable time for doing the test is after 1 month of exposure to get highly reliable result.
