Brief Answer:
Management of anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting us with your health concern
Persistent anxiety and intrusive thoughts are suggestive of Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). GAD is best treated with a combination of medication (Buspirone is the best choice than SSRIs like sertraline) and psychotherapy.
Please be advised to follow up with your physician for appropriate management. I understand that you are going through a difficult situation and it would be best to seek support from your family and friends too along with treatment.
Hope this answers your question
