                                            Question : Hi,
My partner and I were experimenting around 36 hours ago and we inserted a small object (iphone car charger plug, cylindrically shaped, about 2 inches long, maybe half an inch across) into my anus where it disappeared. 36 hours later, it still hasn't come out. I've still been having normal (twice daily) bowel movements and there's no pain, but I'm really starting to freak out. Will this pass on its own, or.... ? Thank you!

                                    Brief Answer:
X-ray and per-rectal digital examination
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history well and understood the concerns.
I would advise you the following:
Go to ER for an X-ray of the abdomen and pelvis to see if it is present or has passed out.
Per-rectal digital examination.
Removal if present.
No worry, if it is not detected.
Rarely sigmidoscopy/colonoscopy may be needed.
Relax, it might have passed out in the stool.
