Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting the question.
Lump with painful foot can be due to a variety of reasons-
1.Lipoma- soft tissue swelling made up of fat
2.Ganglion-Soft tissue swelling made up of synovial fluid
3.Tenosynovitis-painful inflammation of the tendon sheath
4.Neuroma-soft tissue swelling made up of nervous tissue
5.Early cellulitis-early infection
There are various other reasons too.
If you could please post a photograph of the lump and the painful part,i would be in a better position to guide you further, because treatment for all the different lumps is different.
Waiting for the photograph.
If you are unable to post a photograph, please try to mention the details of the lump, e.g- its location, size, color, whether it is XXXXXXX etc.
Thank you.
Regards
