Question : Hi, I am 67 have been thru menopause. I wear a pessary because I have a prolapsed uterus and have fibroids. My gynecologist said the only thing holding up my uterus are my fibroids. I also have blood in my urine. This past week it was a 3. Not sure what to do. My pap smear came out normal. I sometimes stain after I urinate. Should I get a hysterectomy? My Dr. said he cannot do it vaginally because of my fibroids. I just don't know what to do. Can I have another form of Cancer? I just can't see wearing a pessary in my old age. What do you suggest. I'm nervous about the blood in the urine as well.
