PP---205 Fasting--90 Weight-58kg. HEIGHT- 5ft 5 inches. DIADETIC DIAGONOSED ON Sept.2008.
Brief Answer:
Weight is adequate.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Your sugar level like FBS and PP sugar are adequate. As per your weight (58 kg) and height of 5 feet 5 inches, your BMI comes out to be 22.10. Now, I must say that your weight is adequate as per Indian standard.
Usually, Metformin decreases the weight of the patient. You should take well-balanced diet and consult a dietitian for a diet chart.
As you are diabetic and have already undergone CABG, you should not be worried about losing weight. It is adequate. In your case, I will suggest that you keep a record of your weight as it should not go on decreasing.
If you are getting too worried then I request your doctor to put you on insulin instead of diabetes drugs. Also, get your diabetes under control with regard to the HbA1c level.
My final comment is that your weight is normal and I request you not to stress about it.
Hope I have answered your query.
