Brief Answer:
Color Doppler

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As the swelling is not going down even after 6 months of therapy. Do not do anything yourself as you may cause harm. You should consider changing the surgeon.

I would suggest an MRI. MRI will be a better option as it will give the complete extent of lump as well as the condition of the sinuses if the lump is originating from them.

When the exact diagnosis of the lump is made, the treatment will be decided after that. If it is a soft tissue outgrowth, it will need surgery and in case of vein dilatation, it may need surgery or laser ablation like therapy.

But first get an MRI done.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further query then you can get back to me.
