Brief Answer:
Planter wart. Use keratolytic agents
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I am Dr. Kakkar (Dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern. I have reviewed the Image
Yes, it is a wart. It is an infecton caused by HPV.
Pain is because this area is hard and it presses on to nerves while walking. For this single wart she may use Duofilm liquid once daily at night. The liquid contains topical keratolytic agents like salicylic acid and lactic acid and would make the wart area soft and peel it off after a few days.
She should avoid sharing footwear with anyone else and also avoid walking barefoot on floor to prevent spreading to others.

Brief Answer:
Either topical keratolytic or cryotherapy
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Yes. The liquid is safe during pregnancy. The area would gradually become soft and peel off. There would not be any bleeding as new skin would replace infected skin.
Another treatment option for a plantar wart is cryotherapy whereby the affected tissue is freezed with liquid nitrogen spray and it would subsequently blister and peel off. This is also safe during pregancy. A dermatologist would do cryotherapy at his office.
Laser is not treatment of choice for a plantar wart.
