Question : Hi .. yesterday morning I had abdominal cramping and diarrhea.. the diarrhea went away after the morning and my stools went back to normal but my cramping has continued in to this morning for no apparent reason and my breast are are very sore Especially my nipples. I be had a hysterectomy six years ago but it was partial, I still have my ovaries. Do have any idea what this could be?

I forgot to add yesterday I had sex and there was point were it hurt. That has never happened before either.

Hi,

This is acute in the context of digestive upset. It is my strong believe that this will resolve spontaneously and doesn't need any aggressive measures of evaluation or treatment. For cramps, I will recommend scopolamine and discontinue Ibuprofen as this can cause stomach pain / gastritis.

Unless this persists beyond 5days or symptoms get exacerbated to intolerable proportions before then, I will continue to observe only at this time.
