Question : Hi,I had undergone laproscopic surgery for Ovarian Dermoid cyst measuring 8cm one month back,but now am developed ovarian cyst of 50×34×35mm,vol-31cc...in left ovary.what is the status of that?& is it to be removed from surgery?
I am 29years,married for 2 years and not having a child.

It is a smaller cyst.

Hi,

Dermoid cyst can be identified by ultrasound scan because of its contents. Possibility of a dermoid cyst is there though rare.
If it is a simple follicular cyst you don't need to operate. Your doctor will advise medicines like OC pills.
Everything depend up on scan finding. Please send me the scan report.
