Brief Answer:
Needs an urgent abdominal ultrasound scan

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

Thanks for the query, I can understand your concern,

This type of trauma could cause blunt injuries to the colon or the intestines. This can cause such pain and swelling.

I'd suggest you to just get an ultrasound abdomen done in the first place. If the Radiologist finds any kind of injury to the abdominal organs, s/he may reconnect a CT scan then and there only.

The necessary treatment can only be initiated after knowing the cause in this scenario.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow-up queries.

Brief Answer:
Watch breathing, urine and stool

Detailed Answer:
This is good news.

Watch if she is able to eat and pass urine and stool normally.

Watch if her breathing is possible and without excess effort.
