Brief Answer:
Apply firm pressure for 10 to 15 minutes.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The bleeding will stop with firm pressure for 10 to 15 minutes.

I am sorry to hear your problem, while you are on Plavix, controlling bleeding can become a bit of problem.

What you can do will depend on the size of the wound, and most certainly it requires stopping the bleeding.

If you can apply a bandage, then please make sure the bandage is tight enough to stop the bleeding.

You must visit an ER once you have applied the bandage because you will need a dose of TT and cleaning of the wound.

I hope this answers your query.
