Question : I seem very bloated in my upper abdominal area and have pressure under my right rib cage. When I try to breath deeply I can feel the pressure more. I have also had trouble with swallowing, sometimes food causes a burning sensation as I swallow and/or gets stuck in my chest area going down.

Hello,

As per your symptoms, the possibility of a gastroesophageal reflux disease should be considered.

This should be confirmed with Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

The treatment largely consists of taking medications like Omeprazole/Pantoprazole 40mg Once daily on empty stomach.
