Brief Answer:
Paranasal imaging is mandatory

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As per your symptoms, the possibility of an obstructive rhinosinusitis is very high.

This require a HRCT( high resolution compact tomography) to identify the level of obstruction either at the level of nasal septum or within the paranasal areas.

In presence of penicillin allergy, other superior antibiotics like Azithromycin or Cefixime will be effective.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these medications and tests to her.

In most cases of obstructive rhinosinusitis, a surgical intervention is usually required.

Post your further questions if any.
