Question: I have sudden pain episodes between my jaw and my neck on my left side. lasts a few seconds then goes away, sometimes for days at a time but keeps coming back

You are probably suffering from cervical pain. It is usually postural pain. take tablet diclofenac plus thiocholchiside combination twice daily and tablet calcium supplement once daily.
Avoid using pillow.
Avoid sitting and bending for long. sit with your back supported.
As the duration of the pain is so less initially it can be easily managed by lifestyle measures.
