After reading your query I would like to tell you that for reduction of cholesterol and to achieve good cardiac health it's important that we should adopt healthy lifestyle habits in our daily life routine.

Here I will explain what constitutes these habits:

1. First and the the most important thing to achieve a good health is to stay away from smoking. Smoking increases the risk of heart attack by 5 times even in young generation.

2. Daily exercise, at least a brisk morning walk for 45 minutes a day for 5 days a week is recommended for healthy heart and to keep cholesterol low.

3. Reduction of salt in daily diet keep hypertension away.

4. Eat fresh vegetables and fruits daily and consume good amount of water keeps our body detoxified and check cholesterol levels

5. Avoid junk food and deep fried food as they increases bad cholesterol levels.

6. Avoid excessive consumption of caffeine containing beverages like coffee

7. Take a minimum of 6-7 hrs sleep daily

8. Yoga if you can do then it's a bonus

All these things constitute a healthy lifestyle habits and helps us stay fit.
