Question : This is the 4th day since I had a bowel movement. I've taken Miralax, and two glasses of prune juice to no avail. What should I do?

Hi,

If oral medicines are not working, then its time to take rectal suppositories e.g Fleet laxative glycerin suppositories adult suppositories or fleet enema. These work within minutes.

In old age, there are also chances of fecal impaction. This condition requires removal of impacted stools by physician or surgeon.

Check your medicines that maybe aggravating constipation. Also take lots of clean drinking water.
