Brief Answer:
Not intended for chronic use

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Imodium and other anti diarrheal medications are designed for short term use only as they tend to slow down the intestinal motion. However, I would recommend that you get a stool analysis to detect any bacterial or parasitic infection causing diarrhea. Also, stool analysis can detect excess fat cells which are suggestive of pancreatitis. In the meanwhile, you can take psyllium tablets which will help form stool bulk and reduce the diarrhea in a natural manner.

I hope you find this helpful.

Regards
