How Can Dry Coughing Be Treated In A Diabetic Patient As Per The Attached Reports?
Question: My father in law is having dry cough since last 2 months. His age is 62 and he is diabetic. I consulted doctor and he suggested HRCT scan. I will be attaching the report here. Doctor also prescribed following blood tests: CBP LFT/RFT TB Sarcoid test and reports are pretty clear and normal. could you let me know what should he didn't in this circumstances.. Thanks xxxx

Since he is diabetic, the possibility of TB is more likely.
In my opinion, he should definitely undergo trans bronchial lung biopsy (TBLB) and EBUS (endobronchial ultrasound) TBNA (transbronchial needle aspiration from mediastinal lymph nodes.
This will help in confirming diagnosis whether he is having TB or sarcoidosis or malignancy or Pulmonary fibrosis.
