Brief Answer:
To identify the cause of elevation...

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Clinically both liver enzymes under 100 are considered ok and no intervention is planned. However since it's affecting you, I will urge you to visit a gastroenterologist and identify if any known cause is the reason for elevation. The causes could be an infection, current lifestyle, smoking/alcohol if any, unnecessary medication use and so on. The cause should be treated only then enzyme level will fall back.

It is Ok to take liver-protective herbs. In addition, while you plan to see the doctor, please consider quitting smoking/alcohol if any, start exercise to lower weight, sleep well, meditate and stay relaxed.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Brief Answer:
Treating the cause

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Liver enzymes as discussed earlier gets elevated due to some causes. They would stay elevated if the cause persists. If we are unable to address the cause of liver-protective supplements, avoiding unnecessary medicines including pain killers, weight management and quitting smoking/alcohol are the available treatment options.

Pleases consult and discuss with a gastroenterologist to find the cause.

Hope I have answered your query.
