Question : my 5.5 yr. old male kid is experiencing extreme pain in right ear, pain generally starts in the evening and continues through night. he also coughs a lot and also gets fever during the pain.

Hi,

I understand your concerns.

He seems to have have developed Chronic otitis media (CSOM) meaning infection of the middle part if ear.

This needs to be confirmed by examination from an ENT surgeon to rule out infection and prescribe antibiotics accordingly.

I cannot prescribe medicines as of now AA examination of ear is important.

Please see an ENT surgeon soon.
