Question : Hi I have had a fever for 3 days and dull ache on both sides of my face. It started out a a cold now pain on both sides of my face.

Dear Ms, it seems that you are having sinusitis which is an inflammatory condition of the sinuses. That is the cause of pain on your face which is referring to your neck. This should be treated with an antibiotic as amoxicillin and clavulanic acid e.g. augmentin 1gm every 12 hours. you should add an antihistaminic once daily before going to bed as citrizine to relieve the congestion and decrease the pain. together with alternating acetaminophen as excedren and ibuprofen as Advil every 4 hours to relieve fever and pain.
