Question: I am 43 yr old women and noticed that foot pain but on the top of my foot. I have not injury my foot so don't understand why I only have this pain in my foot.

Hello,

From what you describe it may be extensor tendinitis the inflammation of tendons by wearing tight shoes, or over using foot.
Your doctor can examine you by reflex proves and flexion and extension of foot.

You can use ice compresses, rest, elevate foot and immobilize it.
If they don't work you may need steroid injection.
