Question : noticed some hearing loss. When I went to see about hearing aids they gave me a general hearing test. when I took off the headphones I couldn't hear as well as before. two days and still can not hear better.

Probably a side effect of the audiometry, it will go away in a few days.

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a common side effect of audiometry.
During this procedure you are exposed to different intensity of sound.
This side effect will probably go away on it's own in a few days so don't worry.
If the symptoms continue you should go to the ENT specialist for further evaluation.
But, as I said, I think it won't be necessary.
