Brief Answer:
Can be due to many causes.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

You are having heavy vaginal bleeding, a menstrual disorder called Menorrhagia.
There are many cause for having such heavy bleeding commonest being:-
- Female hormone imbalance,
- Uterine fibroids,
- Disorders of the uterine lining,
- Uterine,ovarian or cervical cancer,
- Hypothyroidism,
- Endometrial hyperplasia,
- Dysfunctional uterine bleeding, to name a few.
For diagnosis, you need to have an ultrasound scan of your lower abdomen and some blood tests.
Laboratory assessment of hemoglobin, luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), prolactin, T4, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), pregnancy (by βhCG), and androgen profile can be done.

You can try the following till you get your test reports done.
1) Take iron supplement.
2) Use Trapic-MF, ibuprofen and oral contraceptive pills to stop bleeding. You will need a written prescription from a doctor for these medicines.
3) You can go for minera IUD once your cause is rule out.
4) Eat healthy and leafy vegetables and fruits.
5) D&C may also be helpful in some cases.
You might consult your OB-GYN who can do the needed tests and initiate the proper therapy.

I hope this answers your query.

Wishing you good health.

I have been taking Pause MF for past and current periods. Just Pause MF was not helpful so I was advised to take Regesterone 5 mg for 5 days twice a day.
For this cycle I did that. bleeding got controlled and period lasted for 5 days. then again after 2 days break this morning again there is bleeding.
kindly advise

my last ultrasound reports were all normal including blood reports.

Brief Answer:
Bleeding is due to stopping Regesterone

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The bleeding again started due to stopping of Regesterone. This bleeding should subside gradually in next few days. If all the blood reports are normal then it is best to get an endometrial biopsy done and get regular contraceptive pills prescribed by your gynecologist.

Hope my answer is helpful.
