Brief Answer:
Seems like irritable bowel disease and depression.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As per your description it seems that you are having irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) and depressive episodes. I’m of the opinion that depressive episods cause more problems than bowel issues.
IBS is quite common in elderly especially in females. It can be managed with supportive measures and shows good results. As of now you can take laxative syrups like lactulose 10 ml on bed time. Antacids like pantoprazole or omeprazole has to be taken once daily basis. Avoid hot and spicy food stuffs. Have healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Fiber rich diet is good for smooth bowel movements. If the pain is severe you can take analgesics like pregabalin which is quite effective in IBS.
If symptoms persist despite all these, consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
It is important to treat the depression as it can worsen the bowel problems also. Counselling session and antidepressants may be required. Consult a psychiatrist and he will direct you accordingly. You might require antidepressants like SSRI which is provide symptomatic relief in IBS also.
Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Practice relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks
