Question : Hello - I have been running a fever off and on since yesterday afternoon, at it's highest my temp was 102. My temp is much lower, but I seem to now be breaking out in heat hives, whenever my body temp rises, like when I drank my morning coffee, or tried to eat hot soup for lunch. ... any ideas what could be going on?

Brief Answer:
Probably a viral infection. Take tylenol!

Detailed Answer:
HI,

I have reviewed your details. This is suggestive of a viral infection. 1000mg of tylenol every 8hours for two days and then if fever would help. If hives become prominent or itches set in, 25mg of benadryl 3-4times daily would address that. Also, eat healthy consisting in increased fluids, fruits, vegetables and some moderate tolerable exercise.

I hope the helps and guides. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
