Question : I get these red spots on my calves from time to time. They are raised, will sometimes sting just a little if I run my finger over them almost like a small ulcer. They last a week or so then go away. I attached a picture. Any idea what they are? I never remember scratching in a spot.

One more thing it feels like a bump with a scab on it.

It is a abrasion. Seems like a self inflicted one. Perhaps you scratched the area inadvertently and that may have caused it.
