
How Can Intermittent Stomach Cramps Be Treated?

1. The pain started in upper abdomen and might have moved. I feel it more in the mid left region.
2. No fever.
3. I had a normal bowel movement on day one, but none since. I usually go every morning. Brief nausea in the middle of the night last night, but that subsided quickly.
4. No urinary complaints.
5. The pain just comes and goes with or without food. The first day it seemed to get worse when I tried to eat.
6. Post menopausal - 5 yrs.

3. Associated problems like Nausea, Vomiting, Constipation etc
4. Urinary complaints like burning urination
5. Any relation of pain to food? Like pain on eating or starving?
6. Details of menstrual cycle?

I read your answers completely and come to conclusion that, it could be simple Gastritis..
Inflammation of Gastric Mucosa..
I suggest,
1. Please avoid coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking if consuming..
2. Drink lot of water, around 3 to 4 litres a day.
3. Please start on Pantoprazole Tablet, 40mg once or even twice a day before food for about one week time..
4. With this you should improve, else please get an Ultrasound Abdomen and Pelvis.
