Brief Answer:
Information

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

When a woman doesn't ovulate, or when a high dose of hormone is taken, then the cycle won't be regular. Once your own estrogen kicks up again, the bleeding will slow down and stop.

If you are bleeding heavily, or this is going on for more than 2 weeks, then see your doctor. It can be stopped with a birth control pill that has a combination of estrogen and progestin (low dose for both) in it. But you may find that the bleeding trails off and stops in the next few days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
