Suggestions on vaccine pain
Detailed Answer:
Hi... I understand your concern. You need not put ice on the injection site. Sometimes it will be painful as it will decrease the blood supply to the local area. I suggest you to give only Paracetamol.
If you can get back to me with the exact weight of the baby which would have been a checked yesterday, I will suggest you be appropriate dose of Paracetamol including with strength.

Detailed Answer:
Hi....sorry for the late reply. You can give Syrup P-120 with strength of 120 mg per 5 ml, at 2.5 ml per dose, every 4 or 6 hourly if temperature is more than hundred degrees Fahrenheit or if the baby is feeling pain. The fever might last for 24 to 48 hours.
