Question : During mid afternoon my right testicle began to swell and become very painful. I continued to get worst and I just checked my temperature and running around 102.2
I took 405 mg. of aspirin about 10 minutes ago.

Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you have posted you seem to have acquired Acute Infection of Right Testicle (Orchitis).

You need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Ultrasound Scanning of Scrotum

In the mean while start taking antibiotics like Cefixime and anti inflammatory drugs like Diclofenac and Serropeptidase twice daily. Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotic as per culture report .

Get the prescriptions from your family Physician

Using Scrotal support will help to reduce the pain .

Ensure to drink more water .

I have a prescription of Cephexin 500mg. I'm not using them for anything.
Will this help me at all. Is taking them better than not taking anything at all.
I can be taking them till I can see a Urologist till Monday or Tuesday.

I,m 65yo. The swelling has not gone down and may have increased. My
temperature has been running from 99.4 to 100.3.
