Question : my wife has scalie sores that started on her that started on her back and has spread to her arms and legs with a few on her chest. We consulted a dermatologist that said it scrious (sorry my spelling is bad) and treated it with clobetasol propionate and minocycline which is not helping. Then she took blood work and determined her liver enzymes were out. She was in the hospital approximately a year and received a large amount of blood

Kindly upload an image for the review!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Best way to help is to review an image of this rash to determine what the cause is and provide suggestions for management. Without reviewing an image, the response would really not be personalized and might turn out not to be applicable to her.
To upload an image, simply click on the link to upload a file and follow the instructions. If this proves difficult, please send the image by mail to YYYY@YYYY and request that the image should be uploaded to your query.
I do promise to get back to you with more insights and helpful recommendations as soon as the requested information gets here.

Brief Answer:
This could be vasculitis!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have finally received the images (4) and have reviewed them fully. This seems to be vasculitis/cryoglobulinemia. I will like to know what her hepatitis B and C screen were. Also, I will recommend that she gets a skin biopsy for analysis to establish the exact diagnosis if that hasn't been done.
I will not want to initiate treatment unless the exact diagnosis is established given that this is a longstanding skin problem and there is no emergency in initiating drugs we are not sure about their indications/usefulness.
Hope I have answered your query.
