How Can Scratches On The Fingers Be Treated?

Question: I had my fingerprints taken for a gun permit. The permit is refused because my fingerprints show lines that are not part of my fingerprints. How can I get rid of these scratch lines on my fingers?

Use an intensive moisturizer regularly.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

You may use an intensive moisturizer to heal the cracks and fissures on your fingers.

An Ammonium lactate based moisturizer or Urea based moisturizer can be used.

These agents are exfoliating as well as hydroscopic therefore they help retain moisture and seal cracks and fissures.

In addition, you may use a potent topical steroid e.g either clobetasol propionate 0.05 %cream or triamcinolone acetonide 0.1 % cream on the fingertips to help heal the dry, cracked skin faster.
