Brief Answer:
Treatment of the cause and antineuralgic drugs use.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Best treatment for neuropathies is to treat or control the cause.

Peripheral neuropathy could be caused by several conditions such alcohol use, viral infections, diabetes, low vitamin B12, certain drugs side effects, heavy metals poisoning, nerves compression and/or trauma, etc.

Nerve conduction study and EMG results are necessary tools in order to achieve a correct diagnosis.

Symptomatic relief is achieved by use of antineuralgic drugs such Pregabalin, Gabapentin, Amitryptilin, etc., as well as use of vitamins B group supplements.

So, it is necessary to discuss with your GP about further evaluation about above mentioned conditions and treatment possibilities.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Kind regards.
