Question : My 33 year old son ca!!ed and said his glands are swollen on his left side just under his chin. He can eat and drink but it has done this a couple of times recently. I am out of town but returning in the AM. Just worried about his throat closing up. He is in good YYYY@YYYY

Submandibular swelling in children is usually due to lymph node enlargement or sub mandibular gland infection.
Lymph nodes enlargement in this region is due some dental caries or infection or some oral lesions.
Please tell me does he have any such complaints.
