Brief Answer:
Needs vitamin-D correction, repeat TSH test in another lab.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I have evaluated all reports of your father.

* After thorough analysis, kindly find my conclusions

- Vitamin D level is low, which requires medications for correction.

- Minor variations in other parameters of eGFR, iron, cholesterol are not as much severe to be scarred.

- For TSH level a repeat test in another lab (to avoid any bias) with empty stomach morning sample is recommended before deciding medicines.

- You have to take care to maintain his hydration with proper liquids, diet should contain least amount of dairy fat, cholesterol items.

- Have to continue current medicines of prostate and BP.

* If he is having currently any symptoms or problems kindly let me know the details please.

Hope this information would be helpful for you. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wish him fine health.

Take care.

Thanks for the information.
For Vitiman D can we give Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) 60,000IU 1 Sached once a week for 2 months and do rest to chek if the level has increased
For TSH will Do one More test with Empty Stomach as recommended by you.

Only concern was related to the test EST. GLOMERULAR FILTRATION RATE (eGFR) which was on the Lower Range i.e 87 but recommended was 90.
Whether we need to consult Kidney Specialist on this and take any medication to bring that in to normal range

Only problem he is complaining is that gastric from pas few days for that we are giving Apple Cide vinegar Eraly in Morning in emty Stomach. Is this fine for gastric or we have any other alternative home medicines?

Thanks for your input in advance.

Brief Answer:
Follow up.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

1. Yes, give Cholecalciferol as per narration for 3 months and then repeat the test.

2. Take time for repeat TSH and then consult with report.

3. eGFR is absolutely fine, a minor variation of 5-10 does not need urologist consult, as he is a prostate patient and on medicines, certain difference is always acceptable at this age , nothing to panic at all.

What is more important are symptoms rather than numbers in some reports.

4. For gastric upset, can give apple cide vinegar ; along with which pure honey 10 ml twice a day, triphla ayurvedic preparation are best supporters.

No thanks please, this is part of my moral responsibility to guide you best as per my expertise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Triphla comes in liquid as well as tablet formulation in herbal form like Himalaya company or else, no need to make at home.

If prefers tablet - give 2 tablets at bed time with a glass of lukewarm water or if prefers liquid - give 2 table spoonful 2 times a day.
