Brief Answer:
Don't worry as this is normal for this age

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Grating sound in knee joint in this age is mostly due to friction/sliding of cartilages or tendon. This is quite common in this age in knee or elbow joints. If you are noticing a click sound at hip joint during movement please consult your pediatrician to rule out hip abnormality like hip dysplasia.

I won't get worried if there is no restrictions of movement or any other associated symptoms. Continue giving vitamin d and calcium supplements till one year of age.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more doubts.

Regards
