Question : My wife, aged 43, is suffering from vomitting and some loose motions as well. We had a party at home last night - so, probably, this might have something to do with what she ate. Is there any medicine she could take for relief? Thanks.

I have gone through the query,

From the description you have provided, she seem to have acute gastroenteritis. I would suggest you to do the following:

- Take T. ENUF twice as of now, and then only when and if she has any further episodes of loose stools.

- Also take T. EMSET 4mg once as of now, this is to stop her vomiting. You can repeat the dose as an when needed.

- Personally, I would suggest her to take a course of antibiotics for easy and complete recovery. I would recommend her to take T. OFLOX-OZ. As this is a prescription drug, you need to get this prescribed by a doctor in your local area.

- Continue to give her plenty of fluids and home made foods, fruits and vegetables.
