Question : Recently the appearance of my medication changed drastically (paroxetine hcl). The pharmacy said the manufacturer had been changed, hence the look of the pill. How certain can I be that the medication itself, ingredients/amounts/etc. are the same as what I've been taking for years?

I must assure you that all forms of medications (including generic) are tightly regulated by USFDA and there is no need to worry. There are certain criteria measured with use of graphs of branded molecule and others. The criteria is minimum 80% of drug level should be achieved by secondary manufactures in compare to original manufacturer.
