Hi and thank you for asking!

I read carefully all your wife concerns and I can say as follows:
1.With regards to the first part of your question "how dangerous isba ruptured galbladder".
Ruptured gallbladder is a lifethreatening situation and it needs emergency operation.
2. As per your second part of the question "when the bile escape to the blood stream.
This happens where is a blokage on bile pathway and needs medical and surgwry treatment.

Elevated bilirubin level is toxic for our body but the infection of gallbladder and it's rupture is really more dangerous.
3. So at the end I strongly suggest to go te emergency room before Christmas to do further exams like:
-abdominal ultrasound
- blood work
to better evaluate the severity of the situation.
Hope it is moderate infection and may be resolved with a couple of days with antibiotics.

Wish her fast recovery.
