I must say that whitening of the teeth(to correct yellow colour) can be done by different methods. But first we must know that how it became yellow. Is it stains which are attached from outside the tooth(extrinsic stains- coffee stains, iron medicine stains, or by plaque) or is it by stains from inside the tooth(intrinsic stains like developmental problems). The extrinsic stains can be removed by professional cleaning of the teeth(scaling). If intrinsic stains means it has to be done by bleaching of the teeth.
