Question : I have worms in my neck muscles,arms and back,been taking mebendazole since 2012,yet I still have the terrible aches and headaches.I have excreted worms so I guess d ones in d stomach are gone but how do I get rid of the ones inside my muscles.I'm trying to conceive and my ovulation should b btw 20th and 25th of this month,however I had taken 500 mg of mebendazole on the 14th,and I took another 500mg on the 20th.Meanwhile I had sex with my husband on 20th and I might have conceived,is my baby(?)at risk?how do I get rid of the worms in inside my muscles?its so painful!

Brief Answer: It may take several more months to subside. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. Aches in neck muscles,arms and back (myalgia) is due to the post effect of worm infection. It may take several more months to subside. You can take antiinflammatory drug to relieve these aches. Before taking these drug, I suggest you to first confirm that you are not pregnant.
