Question : same sex partner for 6 years had yeast / fungal Infections since I was a child especially in hot weather . just looking for a second opinion does this look fungal yeast or like lichen planus or lichen sclerosis or anything different

Hi,

I have gone through your complaints and reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be lichen sclerosus et atrophicus.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply potent topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream on the affected area twice daily for 2 weeks.
Topical steroids are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.

thanks for that I was Getting anxious . my doctor prescribed daktakort cream on Saturday . I think it has steroid in . can this take a long time. to get better
