Question : How do I stop Nucynta withdrawals. Want to get off them. Trying tapering off. Down to 1/2 75mg pill once a day at night so I can get to sleep. These withdrawal symptom are terrible.

Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but this medication is reported to cause withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, sweating, insomnia, rigors, pain, nausea, tremors, diarrhea, upper respiratory symptoms, and, very rarely, hallucinations. However these symptoms should last for one to three weeks and then resolve spontaneously.. It is recommended to taper this medication by decreasing 25% of the dose weekly, but if the withdrawal effects are not well tolerated then you should taper it more slowly and over a longer interval of time in order to ease the symptoms..
