Question: How soon can a First Response Pregnancy test detect a pregnancy after conception if you believe you got pregnant a few days before a missed period?

It takes at least 10 days after the date of last intercourse for the test to become positive. If you had an unprotected sex just before the periods then the chances of conception are less as it is the less fertile period of the cycle. It is best to relax and wait for your periods to start.

Thank you! I took a test the other day, and it came back negative. My husband and I had sex three days ago (which my period was due today) and I tested today and it came back positive which is why I ask.
